2020 was a really rough year for everyone but now, we only wish for 2021 to be a better year, because after all we went through, we deserve it. Here is our way to start off the new year with good vibes !

We wish, as the clock strikes midnight,
To go back to the golden light,
When we didn’t have to worry about a virus destroying human lives,
And focus solely on what lies ahead of us,
Worrying about being a teenager and school assignments we didn’t submit on time
We wish for 2021 to be a year where we get to feel bliss,
Not the mere happiness we feel after some nice gooey sweets,
We want the one we get when we feel everything falls into place
And anything heavy disappears from our soul,
As we wish to flip through a new chapter,
We surely hope for this seed to turn into a radiant marigold.
But the best way not to be dashed about the new year
Is to avoid having high expectations
About what life can bring us
Find the tools you need to bounce back
And make your dreams come true
Now awaken yourself, don’t be afraid
Until you stand upon the stage
Speak as loud as you can
Until your voice breaks
If at first you don’t succeed,
Then try again until they kneel
Cause one year equal 365 opportunities
Until we meet next year,
As the clock strikes midnight.
